This wood was chosen as it is free from rough edges, and splinters. The Wood is pre-treated with a water based pet friendly wood preservative and stain which is durable to mould, insects and rotting. All out hutches feature LOCKING BARREL BOLTS not spinning hearts as these are easily opened by your pet or children by accident causing many unwanted escapes. I have to say I am rather disappointed with the quality of this hutch. While putting it together I was wondering how long it would last as the wood seemed too light for it to be solid but I didn’t expect our rabbit to chew half the door after just one night. The picture shows what our rabbit did in just a few hours. He has since chewed more of the door and the ladder.It was easy to put together except the only panel that was pre assembled with the ladder was off center making it impossible to close the hatch with ladder pulled up without taking it all apart. I don’t think any quality control was done.This hutch is cheap but unless you don’t mind your rabbit treating it as a chew toy (there was plenty of food and chew toy inside to keep him occupied), I would not buy it again.

    First things first, the hutch is tiny. This should not be classed as rabbit hutch. It’s far too small. The price does not reflect the quality of this hutch.
    The bits to put the hutch together do come labelled which is fab, but putting it together it is so insecure, had to add extra screws to make sure bits didn’t fall off.
    The bunny pee is actually seeping out of the sides of the hutch so we’ve had to buy puppy pads to go on the floor so the floor doesn’t get ruined.
    Oh and the cover didn’t arrive even though it was apparently shipped in the box.
    Not happy with this at all, over £100 which will be going in the bin. What a waste.

    I’m sadly, really disappointed with this hutch. I had seen others at a similar price with Ravi BFF reviews and wish I’d bought one of those instead.

    The whole hutch is just shoddily made. Every end of wood is rough and splintered, it’s painted over rather than being sanded smooth. It is flimsy, and thin, it doesn’t feel like it will stand the test of time against a rabbit at all. The pain work is patchy with whole parts not painted. The wood hasn’t been cut straight, or possibly measured correctly, I only just managed to put the thing together and it look alright.

    The butch feels like a rush job, it looks like someone had to make a rabbit cage in an hour and that’s the best they could muster.

    Unfortunately for me, I can’t return the hutch as my autistic daughter chose it for her birthday in anticipation of a rabbit. I can’t simply swap it as it would be too traumatic for her to cope with.

    I would highly recommend not buying this item. It looks beautiful, I love the design and the colour scheme. However, they are the only positives for this cage hence why it is just 2 stars.

    It’s a shame because it looks lovely, it’s an absolutely abysmal product for the money it is selling for.
